About Our School

Mrs Jane Hines Headteacher

Mrs Jane Hines

Welcome to St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School, Richmond. Our school is a very special place where each child is encouraged to reach their full potential both academically and personally in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.

At St. Elizabeth’s we have high expectations of work and behaviour and we aim to foster in our pupils a life-long love of learning and a desire to contribute to the wider life of the school and beyond.

As a Catholic school our motto ‘Love one another as I have loved you’ is at the heart of our community. Our pupils and staff aim to live out the gospel values of compassion, forgiveness and respect for all. Differences are celebrated and each child is seen as unique, special and talented.

Our recent Section 48 inspection said that ‘St. Elizabeth’s drive to develop the whole child and to nurture individual worth is embedded in school culture. Pupils are encouraged to strive for excellence in all areas of their academic and personal development. They, in response, learn to respect all members of the community as equally valuable’.

I hope that your visit to our website will give you a flavour of our school community and some of our activities. Visits from prospective parents are warmly welcomed. If you would like to find out more about the school or to arrange a visit please do contact us by phone or e-mail.

I look forward to meeting you personally soon.
