Our Y2 Nativity this week was just wonderful! The children performed, sang and said their lines so well: we were so proud of them. Thank you to Miss McCrossan, Miss Kennedy, Miss Williams and our Year 2 team for bringing together a beautiful nativity.
Our school Christmas Lunch on Wednesday was such a fun day for the children. An array of brightly coloured jumpers and Santa hats added a buzz of excitement in school and pupils and staff really enjoyed this time together. Thank you especially to our kitchen staff for cooking a delicious Christmas lunch, and of course our Christmas Lunch parent helpers!
As part of their History learning this term, Y4 participated in an Ancient Greece afternoon on Thursday. Our Y4s transformed themselves into Greek Gods and Goddesses and enjoyed trying different foods from a Greek banquet.
A guest speaker from The Passage, our chosen Advent charity, came to school on Thursday to speak to the children in assembly. The Passage is an organisation that helps homeless and vulnerable people to transform their own lives. Thank you to those that have already shown support to this charity in collections after our Y2 Nativity. There will be a collection for The Passage after the Reception and Y1 Nativity and Carol Service next week.
Our Junior children are off to the pantomime this afternoon to see Peter Pan at Richmond Theatre. A real treat at Christmas time!
