The children were very excited to see snow in the playground this morning! The staff however are hoping that this cold spell will be over soon. Please note that if overnight snowfall was ever to prevent the school from opening, we would let you know by Parentmail by 8:00 a.m. once a site inspection had taken place.
This week we finished our ‘Health & Safety Week’ programme of activity with Y6 Omega participating in cycling proficiency and Y3D completing Safe Walking training. We also sent a Parentmail this week with a link to access E-Safety materials and information from Mr Peter Cowley, Online Safety Officer. We strongly encourage all parents of children of all ages to become knowledgeable on the issues concerning online safety and in particular, aware of how they can keep their child safe with social media and gaming. Reception prepared a very special assembly this week on friendship. We were very proud of our youngest pupils to stand up in front of the whole school and speak so well. Thank you to Miss O’Rourke and the Reception team.
