The children have enjoyed their first week back at school and are settling well into the new school year. We look forward to our new Reception children starting school next week.
Please read below a few reminders as well as some notifications for the forthcoming weeks.
Please may we remind you to clearly label and name your child’s school uniform and items that come into school, including lunch boxes. We already have a collection of unnamed, brand new items in lost property from this week. This ensures that any mislaid items within school are returned to your child quickly.
Homework will begin next week, and information on your child’s homework schedule will be sent home by the class teacher.
Information on school clubs for the Autumn term has been sent to you on Parentmail today, and a school clubs registration form has been sent home in your child’s reading packet. School clubs begin week commencing 17th September. Breakfast Club and the after school provision with EnergyKidz runs on every day of the school term. A flyer for EnergyKidz has also been sent home providing you with information on how to make a booking directly with them.
The termly Diary of Events will be sent home shortly as we finalise dates for this term. We will also be sharing with you dates for the Class Information Sessions and the School Welcome Evening.
In the meantime, please see below upcoming dates for your diary.
