As I type, our parent cyclists are on their way to Dover .. and then off to Brussels! It was a fabulous send off this morning as our children cheered and waved their flags. Thank you to Monsignor Bill for coming to school to bless the cyclists and we will be thinking of the team until they triumphantly return home on Sunday. We are thrilled to share that our 2019 team has reached their target of £10,000! This is an absolutely amazing achievement and thank you to all that have sponsored our team with such generosity. What an incentive this is to keep peddling! Donations still can be made and are very gratefully received. Please make your donation via the PTA Sponsored Cycle JustGiving webpage – thank you: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/r2b
.. And the children always enjoy ‘Mufti Day’! Thank you for your kind donations of a bottle for our Tombolo stall.
This week, our Reception children thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Bocketts Farm Park in Leatherhead. The farm provides a wonderful learning opportunity and Reception really enjoyed meeting all the animals!
Our Y6 pupils completed their Y6 National Curriculum tests this week, well done to Y6 Alpha and Y6 Omega for doing their best. Y6 are now getting ready for their school journey to St Omer in France next week which is really a fantastic opportunity for the children. We look forward to hearing all about it on their return. Bon voyage!
And finally, our Y3 & Y4 football club hosted a friendly festival with Orleans Primary School on Monday this week – some fantastic matches and goals scored!
