Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s been a busy week for our Y6 pupils this week as they have been taking their SATs tests. The children responded to the challenge with a great attitude and determination and we are very proud of them all!
The Y6 children are off to their residential visit at PGL in Osmington Bay, Weymouth on Wednesday next week. Always a highlight of the whole school experience, we hope they have a wonderful time, having fun and trying new activities.
This week in school
Ascension Day Mass
Thank you to Canon John for celebrating our Mass for us for the Ascension of the Lord yesterday. Our Y5 pupils led the readings and prayers and Canon John offered the Mass for our Y6 pupils.
May Fair countdown!
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the May Fair this Sunday. Thank you all for the donations of toys and bottles and also for volunteering to help on the day. It promises to be a fantastic day of fun, food, music and magic! Now we just need the weather to be kind to us.
This is the biggest PTA fundraiser of the year and all funds raised will be used in school to buy resources for all classes. We are also hoping to raise enough money to repair and replace some of our playground equipment and replace our CTouch screens in the classrooms. See you on Sunday!

Still time to sponsor our Richmond to Roubaix Cyclists
Our cyclists have now raised an amazing £7743 for the school. There is still time to show your support for the cyclists by making a donation and sending a message via the JustGiving webpage: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/richmondtoroubaix2026
School Polo Shirt
The new polo shirts will be available to buy at Dolphin House during the half-term holiday at a cost of £10. The polo shirts are not compulsory and children will be able to continue wearing the open necked cotton shirt or the collared shirt with a tie in summer. Children will return to full winter uniform with a shirt and a tie after the half-term break in October.
Saying the Rosary during May, the Month of Mary
The School Chapel is open every morning from 9 to 9:30am during May for parents to use for their own prayers or to pray the Rosary with other parents. If you would like to start your morning with prayer, please come to the school office to sign in.
Walk to School Week
Next week is National Walk to School Week when families are asked to reduce car use around schools. We understand that many of our families need to drive some of the way to school but please do consider parking away from school and walking the last part next week. If you already travel to school by public transport, car share, walking, scooting or cycling – thank you, and do keep this up. The Eco-Ambassadors will be carrying out surveys of travelling to school next week and will be giving prizes to the classes.
Message from the Pupil Chaplains - Mary's Meals
Please can you bring in the Mary's Meals envelope with unused currency on Thursday 21st May. Y6 may bring in the envelope on Tuesday 19th May. The money you donate will be used to provide food for the most vulnerable.
Thank you for your generosity.
