Welcome

Welcome to St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School

Our school is a very special place, where each child is nurtured and guided to reach their full potential academically, personally and spiritually.

Our recent Outstanding Ofsted Inspection Report states that the school has the ‘highest aspirations for all pupils' and that 'children flourish in this supportive and purposeful environment’.

We are a welcoming and inclusive community where pupils are happy and thrive; they have fun and a passion for learning which is evident from the moment you enter our school gates.

We provide children with a very broad learning experience, full of new challenges and long-lasting memories.  Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of all learners and we have the highest aspirations for our children, demonstrated by our high levels of academic performance and progress.  We ensure that children have the skills, knowledge and self-confidence to enable them to move successfully to their next stage in education.

As a Catholic school our motto ‘Love one another as I have loved you’ John 13:34 is at the heart of all we do.  Our school values of equality, excellence, kindness, forgiveness, perseverance, friendship, courage, service and respect are fostered and celebrated throughout the school.  We encourage in our children a desire to contribute to the school and our wider community and to aspire to be the forces of change in our society.

Although priority is given to applicants from Catholic families, applications from children of other faiths or none are warmly welcomed.  We are regularly able to offer places to children who are moving into the area in all year groups.  Full details of the application process can be found on the Admissions page of the website.

I hope that your visit to our website will give you a flavour of what makes our school unique.  However, nothing can match the experience of visiting us in person and seeing the school in action and we recommend that you join one of our ‘Open Mornings’.  Contact us today - we look forward to welcoming you to our school.
